Good Motorcycle Books worth Reading
Back in 2007 after having completed my training course with Tristar's talented Motorcycle Safety instructors I knew that I've only just started my journey. So I hopped on Amazon and started searching for more knowledge that will help keep me off the tarmac.
Here are some of my favorite books:
Total Control: High Performance Street Riding Techniques
Total Control explains the ins and outs of high-performance street ridin, gives riders everything they need to develop the techniques and survival skills necessary to become a proficient, accomplished, and safer street rider.
Smooth Riding the Pridmore Way
After reviewing the basics, Pridmore shows advance students how to focus on control in cornering, braking, and acceleration. A long-time proponent of the value of body-steering, Pridmore's insightful text explains how this controversial technique helped him win championships and how it can help everyday riders and budding racers become smoother, better riders. Sections on street strategies and riding gear make this a comprehensive how-to riding skills book for anyone looking to improve their skills.

Here is a book for the motorcyclist who wants to do it right! The most complete, authoritative book ever published on safe riding techniques and strategies.

Icon May 2011
We just received our new Icon shipment, all sorts of gear, a lot of sizes.
Jeans, Helmets, Helmet Shields, Replacement Parts, Tank Bags, too many to list here

Some thoughts about the BMW F800R
Now personally...
I've had the BMW F800S for 2 years, from 2007-2009, and during those years I rode it all year round.
Yep even in the hot summer at 55 degrees celsius between cars at a red light which seems to last forever as the sweat poured over my brow and threatened to burn my eyes out of their sockets.
So 2011 is upon us, and sadly the F800S has been discontinued, though the F800ST is still alive and well. And from what I gather it seems the F800R has in a sense just eclipsed the F800S.
But here is something I did not know, is that the F800R has 2 more horsepower than all the 800 series.
Interesting =)
The F800R also has two important indicators that you will not find on competitor bikes.
